Attorney Carol Cioe Klyman, specializing in elder law, estate planning, guardianships, special needs planning and probate litigation has recently been named to the editorial board of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) Journal. The NAELA Journal is a peer-reviewed, scholarly publication of substantive articles on Elder and Special Needs Law topics published twice a year by the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
Attorney Klyman received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the Western New England College Law School, where she taught elder law as an adjunct professor of law in the school’s LL.M. program in 2006 and received her B.A. in journalism from the University of Rhode Island. Attorney Klyman is a contributing author of the three-volume treatise, Estate Planning for the Aged and Incapacitated Client in Massachusetts(MCLE, 1998), considered one of the leading publications in the field. She has lectured before numerous professional and civic organizations, including Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, the Suffolk University Institute for Advanced Legal Studies, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the National Business Institute. Attorney Klyman is a longtime resident of Westhampton, MA.
