Attorney Carol Cioe Klyman of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C. was recently selected by her peers for inclusion in the 2009 edition of The Best Lawyers in America in the field of Elder Law. Since its inception in 1983, Best Lawyers has become universally regarded as the definitive guide to legal excellence. Attorney Klyman has lectured before professional and civic groups and authored numerous publications in the areas of elder law and estate planning. Attorney Klyman is among the contributing authors of the three-volume treatise, “Estate Planning for the Aged or Incapacitated Client in Massachusetts,” MCLE, 1998, considered one of the leading publications in the field of elder law. Attorney Klyman serves as secretary of the Hampden County Estate Planning Council and is litigation committee co-chair and past vice president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys. She earned her J.D. degree magna cum laude from the Western New England College School of Law.
