Preparation is the key to securing a family’s future as area experts offered their expertise at a forum that provided answers to questions about trusts, long term care insurance, Medicaid, retirement benefits, veteran’s benefits, reverse mortgages, etc. Securing Your Family’s Future—Long-Term and Asset Protection Planning was the topic of the forum that included area experts, including Michele J. Feinstein of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C. of Springfield, MA and Northampton, MA.

The event occured on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Western New England College Center for the Science & Pharmacy, Room 200, at 1215 Wilbraham Road, Springfield MA.  The forum agenda included two sessions; session 1 is titled, “What Can I Do to Plan Ahead”, which included ways advanced planning can a help a family feel secure. Feinstein co-chaired the forum with Hyman G. Darling, Esq. Shareholder at Bacon / Wilson P.C. In addition, Timberly V. Grout, CTFA, Vice President and Wealth Management Officer at People’s United Bank; and Gary F. Thomas, Esq., President of The Wealth Technology Group spoke.
