Carol Cioe Klyman recently acted as co-chair of the 13th annual New England Elder and Disability Law Conference in Boston. It was the third time she has co-chaired the yearly event.

At the Conference, which was sponsored by Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Ms. Klyman presented a workshop entitled “The Hidden MassHealth: What You Need to Know That’s Not in the Rule Book.” Along with Attorney Albert Gordon of Springfield, Ms. Klyman covered the unwritten rules of MassHealth long-term care policy and procedure, including the use of caregiver agreements and private annuities, transfer of assets issues, and the application process.
